Maintenance Personnel
Wildstone, Western Canada’s most exciting new lifestyle and recreational development is seeking a number of key individuals who will support our growth initiatives. Wildstone is a Real Estate and Golf Development in Cranbrook, with 900 acres of real estate and two Gary Player Championship golf courses. The Wildstone team is growing and after a successful 2007 season shaping the first golf course, 2008 will see the completion and grow-in of this course. Wildstone requires several maintenance personnel to perform various tasks involved with the grow-in and maintenance of the golf course property. Duties and responsibilities will depend on applicant’s experience and job performance.
Responsibilities:
- Various labor tasks required to complete and maintain the golf course.
- Operation of various types of equipment ranging from hand tools to mowing equipment as well as utility vehicles, tractors and loaders.
- Ability to work well as a member of the turf maintenance team and also work on your own effectively with limited supervision.
- Willing to work in an outdoor environment, early mornings and weekend shifts as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Golf course or landscaping experience preferred.
- Experience with operating equipment or machinery an asset.
- Exceptional reliability and dependability a definite asset.
- Must have own transportation or ability to get to work.
- Knowledge of the game of golf, its rules and etiquette would be an asset.
Compensation:
- Compensation will be aligned with the individual’s experience and will be evolutionary in nature in order to involve, reward and retain the ideal candidate.
- These seasonal positions can be either full-time or part-time. Starting dates are flexible and the work season can extend through to November.
