VP Real Estate Sales & Marketing
Western Canada’s most exciting new life style and recreational development in Cranbrook, British Columbia, is seeking a Vice President Real Estate Sales & Marketing who will have overall responsibility for the successful sales and marketing of all aspects of the master planned Wildstone residential resort project. He/She is responsible for the management, motivation, and success of the entire sales and real estate marketing organization at Wildstone including the sales and marketing team, consultants, and others assigned to the project. He/She is also responsible for ensuring effective coordination between sales and marketing and the executive team.
The successful candidate will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be accountable and responsible for all elements of the Real Estate Sales & Marketing portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the foundation for a high performance marketing and sales organization that is focused on reaching targeted objectives and is solutions oriented.
- Utilize existing and new communication vehicles to bring increased visibility and awareness to the development and plan marketing programs for the development in accordance with the development’s approved marketing plan.
- Provide guidance for all pre-sale activities.
- Work with the COO to ensure the real estate marketing budget is being utilized effectively and meeting the proforma requirements.
- Oversee the recruitment and training of the sales and marketing team.
- Responsible for establishing and achieving marketing and sales standards and targets throughout the project.
- Consistently and enthusiastically impart the vision and story of the project, master plan and company.
Qualifications:
In addition to experience that provides knowledge, substance and maturity to the role, a minimum of 10 years specific experience in the sales and marketing of master planned resort development projects is necessary for this position. Also, marketing and sales leadership to achieve financial results must be demonstrated with prior responsibilities. Other areas of experience/skills:
- Specific experience with resort or master-planned developments. Core strengths in resort residential, hotel, commercial and/or retail development.
- Undergraduate degree is required; MBA will be considered an asset.
- Ability to take direction and implement the sales and marketing program in accordance with the project requirements.
- Effective decision maker and negotiator.
- Proven success and passion for building and sustaining strong relationships with team members, partners, and consultants.
- Ability to formally present and explain detailed project plans.
- Excellent understanding of the financial aspects of a project.
Compensation:
- A compensation program consisting of base salary, annual incentive bonus and long term incentives, along with a benefit program will be structured for the ideal candidate. Relocation assistance to Cranbrook will be provided.
