Wildstone in the rugged majestic Rockies is a gift back to nature

It is rare to find a master-planned community dedicated to celebrating natural beauty, and sensitivity to preserving the integrity of surrounding majestic surroundings. Wildstone, set amid the rugged inspirational landscape of Rocky Mountain wilderness in Cranbrook, British Columbia is such a development.

900 acres of scenic land showcased by heavily forested mountains, lush valleys, and cool crystalline lakes is being transformed into a culturally vibrant village centred around an idyllic six acre lake. Residents will find in the pedestrian-friendly village centre, a tantalizing variety of cafes, patios, boutique shops, festivals, restaurants, and galleries. A four-season paradise with a cornucopia of urban amenities.

Ultimately there will be 3,000 residences in Wildstone, ranging from custom single-family homes on a wide variety of homesite sizes, side-by-side villas, multifamily townhomes, lock’n leave condominiums, estate homes, and more. Havaday President, Joel Savage, indicated that “we had three major goals in mind, to respect the environment, provide four-season-fun in a village environment, and meet the broad spectrum of homebuyers needs.”

Incredibly, the first phase of Wildstone, The Whins, sold in one day. This Canadian Rockies’ record of selling 76 homesites has set a standard for future phases. To put things into perspective, Gary Player, whose group is designing the Wildstone golf course stated, “This is the most beautiful site I’ve ever had the privilege to design a golf course on…….nature has given us this wonderful gift. We’d like to leave here saying, ‘we created a gift for nature.’ ”

All distinctive residential pods will be constructed in close proximity to The Village and The Clubhouse, all of which are architecturally designed to emulate Wildstone’s natural landscapes. Careful craftsmanship, impressive scale, and extensive use of natural materials, will seamlessly blend this community into its surroundings. Widstone’s vision is not to overpower nature, but to create living environments that honour nature.

Wildstone’s Cranbrook location has been carefully chosen, as this dynamic Rocky Mountain city combines urban convenience with a wilderness heart. The newly expanded Canadian Rockies International Airport makes accessing Wildstone even more convenient. Highway 93/95 takes you to Wildstone, whose homes gaze southeast towards the inspiring Rockies and majestic Mount Fisher.

Purchasing a home in Wildstone is buying a lifestyle, for whether you choose to spend all of your time exploring the wonders of The Village or the extensive Great Outdoors, this is a mountain paradise for recreation all year round. From fly fishing, golfing in one their two golf courses, to hiking the multitude of trails, dog sledding or skiing in the winter, or sitting by a cozy restaurant and reminiscing, Wildstone is a magnet for four-season fun.

There are many benefits of ownership at Wildstone, including priority tee time reservations at Black Knight, designed by Gary Player, priority reservations at the Whisper Winds spa, unlimited access to the Recreation Centre, and free shuttle service to and from the airport.

With fitness centre, indoor/outdoor swimming pool, multi-use outdoor course, and other recreational venues, the Recreation Centre is a true community centre. For visitors who come to experience Wildstone’s environment and to explore the surrounding countryside, a unique boutique Lodge is just the answer. Come to relax in the Whisper Winds spa, or work in the conference centre with its leading-edge technological capabilities.  Wildstone is a destination for play, rest, contemplation, or even business activities.
